Four tools

the description is the interface

Few tools, surgical descriptions: a model picks a tool by reading it, so every word is part of the API.

search_events

Search verified events by location and date. City name or lat/lng plus radius, ISO dates, one of the 16 canonical categories, free-only flag. Returns compact results with canonical URLs and last_verified.

get_event

The full canonical record for one evt_ id: every field, every source with provenance, quality score, confidence and verification time.

events_summary

The best answer to “what to do in {city} {timeframe}”: a paste-ready markdown brief grouped by category, with a free-events section, explicit dates and canonical links. One call instead of search plus N gets.

resolve_city

Any language in, canonical slug out — with timezone, coordinates and hub URLs. Use it before composing links, or when a search returns no coverage.

Limits and keys

No key

60 req/min per IP. Enough to try, enough to demo.

Free key

Higher limits and usage analytics. Attribution required.

Self-host

The server is open source; run it against your own database.

Citing results

Every tool returns canonical URLs. Cite the URL, not the summary.
